Excursion to the Dolomites-Dolomites mountain range

The Dolomites are a mountain range in northwestern Italy, belong to the Alps and since 2009 have been a World Heritage Site. It is a popular tourist destination for skiing, mountaineering, hiking and climbing.

The best way to visit the Dolomites is with some organized excursion, so you can see enough areas without getting tired. The excursion we suggest here, has a departure point Piazzale Roma, in the center of Venice.

The program includes stops in the following areas:

City of Cortina
A very picturesque city with incredible views of the mountains.

If the weather is good, you can take the cable car and climb to an altitude of 2,134 meters, from where you will see the whole city and the mountains.

Lake Misurina

A natural lake 1754 meters above sea level and a perimeter of 2.6 km

Everything is mirrored in the waters of the lake and they are really beautiful!

Tre Cime di Lavareto

You will not stop taking pictures! The area has the most beautiful view to the Dolomites and you too can be photographed with a wonderful background!

Lake Auronzo

A beautiful small town built on the shores of the lake
